I lost my glasses, and needed a new pair as I realized my last exam had been some time ago. I booked an appointment and was able to get the intake paperwork done ahead of time. That meant when I came for my appointment, things went really quickly. Everyone was smart, courteous, and efficient. I felt like I got a very thorough exam and but had no wasted time waiting for the next person or next step. They put a rush on my glasses (kind of a harder than average case) and in less than a week, I had them in hand. This practice is excellent! Quick scheduling, no long waits in waiting room, thorough care, warm and personable staff. Best of all perhaps, they maintain firm protocols around Covid and patient safety! ????

For years now I have been getting my glasses through the Veterans Administration, which has taken as long as 6 months to fabricate after the prescription was made.The glasses are the ultimate in cheap fragile things that break easily.....and often. They also come through the mail and need fitting once I receive them from the VA.Now I don't know where I would be without the help of Island Family Eyecare, who has helped me with repairs and fitting over the years. Yesterday they help me cobble together 2 pair to make a functional pair after I sat on my glasses.They had no obligation to help me but did!!They definitely earn their name "Island Family."
