“I just bought a large mobile home that had a newer (8-year old) roof. Problem was, the former owner didn't have the original roof removed before having the new one installed, they reused the dozen vents and didn't seat them properly. The inspection report stated that there "might be leaks" around the vents and I decided to be safe rather than sorry. I took 3 bids to tear entire thing down, replace plywood as needed, replace the 2 skylights and 12 vents and install a 40-year roof. I ended up going with Pacific Capital Construction and could not be happier. Sean, the owner, and I struck up a rapport pretty much from the get-go and I feel more like a neighbor took good care of my home rather than just a company slapping a roof on the place. His crew manager, Joel, was great, too. There'd been some rot in the plywood, as expected, where the vents had let in the elements. The crew showed up on time, worked a solid day, and entire job was completed in less than 2! Even with 6 boards replaced, it was still cost-effective. Especially for a 40-year roof and a 10-year workmanship guarantee!Note that the three bids I received were all from the same supply manufacturer, so all offered the same materials. Despite being a small business, Pacific Capital still underbid the 2 larger roofers by $2k and $4k. I made the right choice in going with Pacific Capital Construction!“

“We had ???? ???? construction install duradek product over a cracked and failing fiberglass deck surface. It was critica workl, as part of the deck fits over livable space below. Rather than tearing everything apart, they came up with a clever plan to level a low spot with a compatible compound and overlay 1/4 hard board, caulking all seams and topped with duradeck using quality stainless steel flashing for a demanding ocean location.Despite some misunderstandings on the complete process and costs, they made good on the final completion. I's not always easy to find contractors with this kind of integrity.Services: General construction“
