We made the decision to put our elderly cat down this weekend after an especially tough week. We received care that was both compassionate and professional. I am beyond grateful and would recommend this location to others who love their pets. Thank you so much to Stacy and Dr. Kluetmeier for giving us the time and love we needed.

After many ultrasounds for our sick dog and visits to multiple veterinarians we got referred to PEAKS. After one examination by Dr. Neomi Benitah, she diagnosed him with prostate cancer. She set us up with options for care which we started immediately. Unfortunately, 9 months later, the cancer won. Dr. Benitah, Lucas and her team helped us through a very emotional decision to put him out of his pain and misery. Her team was caring, compassionate, understanding and considerate as if it was their own dog. They were also concerned with our emotions as if we were family. My dog had imaging, comprehensive exam, parathyroidectomy, and initial follow up. All I can say is Wow! What a fantastic team and practice, we are so lucky to have this in Vermont. Dr. Benita was our lead internal veterinarian, working with other technical staff, including surgeon Dr. Schulz who performed the surgery. Dr. Benita was very thorough, kind, clear, skilled, knowledgeable, expert, wrote very detailed reports, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and in a way we could understand, with a somewhat complicated dog which has more than one disease history.
