.I don't know where these 5 star reviews are coming from. This is a motel that charges resort fees. I hate to savage this place since none of the issues can be addressed by staff, but it deserves it.I booked with credit card points, but if I had paid full price, I would have checked out immediately after checking in...Good: The location is good since the recreation trail runs right past. Staff is friendly and the exercise room is well equipped.Bad: Everything else. The whole place smelled like mold or feet, depending on what wing you were in. Outstanding staff, location, and room! Walking distance to great shops and restaurants, bike rentals and the Stowe recreational path. Book this hotel—you will not be disappointed!
Walkability: The Stowe recreation path crosses the street right in front of the hotel. If you take a left on the path the main business district of Stowe is a short 2 mile walk down a well kept paved path. Crossing the street taking a right is very family friendly walk to a couple parks with picnic tables and port-a-potties.
