I live in Florida but while visiting family in Vermont I was treated to a massage by Heidi. I am in my 70's and have been suffering from pain in my hips intermittently for years. At this time I was in severe pain for 6 months straight and although I was treated by various chiropractors and massage therapists at home, their treatments only gave me temporary relief from the pain. When I explained all this to Heidi and showed her where the pain snd stiffness was, she calmly had me lie on her table and confidently said she could take care of my pain. Let me tell you, she was able to release the hip flexors and psoas muscles like no one else could. It's been close to 2 months since my appointment with Heidi and I am pain free with range of motion I haven't had in years. Heidi truly is a gifted healer...knowledgeable and intuitive. The only negative about Heidi is that her practice is a thousand miles away from my home. Maybe I can convince her to move to Florida!!!

Ben has done a variety of projects for us over at least 5 years and 2 properties, including a retaining wall, driveway installation, drainage, a very large mound septic system, prepping and installing an in ground propane tank, prep work for concrete, pad for a shed, playground installation, the list goes on. Ben is professional, knowledgeable, timely with all aspects of project planning and completion, communicative in all aspects of his work, and all around easy to work with. He gives accurate estimates and stands behind his work, even answering my distressed text at 10pm on a Friday night for what turned out to be a simple clogged toilet and not a septic issue (even offering to come right out). Ben has seamlessly worked with government agencies such as VT department of transportation for work done in the right of way at the end of our driveway, completing permits and navigating their many requirements. He easily works as part of a team of contractors on larger jobs, receiving nothing but praise for his high quality work, timeliness, flexibility, and positive attitude.

Alchemy Painting painted the clapboards, trim, and doors of our home built in the early 1800s. The clapboards needed a lot of attention with old paint cracking. Alchemy Painting did an excellent job for us at a very fair price. They turrned up on time, kept us posted, and gave us good advice.
Alchemy Painting also painted our 40 year old standing seam roof which had rusted areas and definitely needed attention. They had good technical knowledge when it came to the right primers and coats of finish paint that would last. All in all our experience with Alchemy Painting has to be reported at 5 star, a rating we rarely give.
