This is a vibrant hub for POC and others seeking braids, dreads, locs, cuts, presses, event prep and more, not to mention warmth and laughs. The work is excellent, no matter who your stylist is. Don't hesitate to CALL if it seems booked because there are many professionals there who will work you in if they can! They have a decent inventory of hair and products. There is a barber there too, adding to the range of styles regardless of gender. Glad they were able to fit me in for a walk in to tighten up the roots of my dreads. It looks amazing, it was relatively painless and great work in short time. I'll be maintaining my dreads here. I have white people hair actually american indian, which I feel like is even harder to dread. Unfortunately I had to shop around for a fade since the barber was out, but I have a barber actually.
