Helena is SO GOOD!!! The price is absolutely incredible and she was so quick and gave me exactly what I showed her I wanted. She didn't try to upsellme another procedure and was so fast I've never been so happy after a haircut!! I got layers cut and she 💯understood the assignment. Looks like there's always a bit of a wait though cause she has a lot of customers which is soemthing to keep in mind but not a real problem

Been going to this place for about a year even after moving out the area. Friendly staff and talented! Know how to cut any type of hair and will make sure it looks great before you leave.

Messed up my hair, they don't know how to do layers and cut my bangs uneven. The only hairstyles they're able to achieve are simple ones, everytime I've gotten a haircut here I've been dissatisfied with my hair. I don't recommend this place at all.

Been waiting 30-45 min for the turn and by the time my turn came they assisted someone else stating there take more time. So un professional.

If your hair has ANY CONNECTION to African roots, please do NOT get your hair done here. They were very friendly, and will REALLY try and convince you that they are very knowledgeable with women of color's hair, and I assure you this is not the case.After insisting then negotiating on charging me more "because my hair is a lot of work", all of the techniques were AWFUL!I will start with the way she continuously yanked the comb through my wet hair was so hard to watch I closed my eyes, then just EXPLAINED that you must start from the ends first with wet curly hair.Normally I am the first to speak up, but here I am trying to be quiet and hope it comes out ok. Bad idea.She didn't blow dry my roots! I told her before she started flat ironing that the top of my head's roots were still very damp, and she said yes it is because of the AC blowing on my head.She didn't straighten my root either. I had to go home and touch it up.She asked about my hair not being relaxed as she combed it, as though she thought I should consider it, while impatiently tearing through my ALREADY pre-detangled hair.The blow dry technique for a Dominican blow out was COMPLETELY not correct, when I saw my hair when she started to blow dry it, I knew it was not going to be ready for a flat iron after. In 20 years, that was the worst Dominican blow out process I sat through, and though I only stayed because my availability for the rest of the week is very hectic, I regret it and am upset with myself for allowing it.Versus lecturing her, who - though was very nice - was clearly was convinced she knew what she was doing and was too impatient to take the time to comb my hair versus tearing through it - and probably does not care, I am warning someone who may need it.Service: Hairstyling
