I discovered Mazna’s Hair and Skin Care when I first moved to the area and was exploring local businesses. I’m still checking out my options, but Mazna offers a great Groupon deal for different types of facials.
I tried her two-part Microdermabrasion facials, spaced about six weeks apart. She has a cozy treatment room inside the Dillingham Square Salon Plaza, where she provides both hair and facial services. She was pleasant to chat with, and I enjoyed our conversations about pets and family.
For this facial, you don’t undress - you keep your clothes on (just remove your shoes) and relax under a soft fleece blanket. The service begins with facial steaming and blackhead removal, during which she also gently removes any makeup. Next, she uses a Microdermabrasion suction wand over the surface of your face. After that, she applies a foaming oxygen gel mask and lets it sit. Before gently wiping off the mask, she quickly rolls a cool facial roller over your skin, then places a red light therapy dome over your head for about 10 minutes. She finishes by lightly dabbing on what seems to be a mild essential oil.
My skin felt noticeably smoother, fresher, and more refreshed, with unclogged pores, after each service. However, I do wish she ended the facial with a hydrating serum and moisturizer - my skin felt dry and uncomfortably unmoisturized afterward, and I’ve always considered moisturization a standard, necessary final step in facials.
Her current deals are hard to beat, and she offers even better rates once you become a long-term client. She’s easy to contact via text, which is a nice convenience, and she’s a warm, friendly, beautiful person. That said, there are a few things that could make the experience feel more like a full facial/spa treatment. In my past facial experiences, estheticians have included facial, neck, and décolletage massage - sometimes even shoulders, arms, or hands - while waiting for masks or treatments to set. Here, we just sit in silence or pleasantly chat. I’ve also never had to keep my top on during a facial before, since treatments often extend to the neck and décolletage area.
A few small touches - like incorporating light massages, extending treatments beyond just the face, adding soothing background music, dimming the lighting, and enhancing the décor, and maybe adding a heated blanket - could create a more relaxing, spa/facial-like atmosphere.
Overall, Mazna is a lovely person who offers quality facial services at a truly great price. I enjoyed meeting her and recommend giving her a try, especially if you’re looking for an affordable way to keep your skin feeling fresh and youthful.

Quality is horrible! I am sorry but she needs to up to date service, beginners : wash your hands before touching your clients face! She is a nice lady but definitely doing her services like it's 2000

I trust her gentle and patient care, skin care recommendations, her chosen organic and natural products, and the level of attention I get every time. Microdermabrasion, chemical peel, extraction, skin assessments, laser skin tag removals above my eye, even fake lashes for my birthday. Mazna is part of my family now, and has even welcomed my little one into her office when I don't have a sitter. My 2yo daughter doesn't warm up to anyone as quickly as she did Mazna, not even her Nana. I believe she senses Mazna's genuineness and care she has for me. Mazna always listens to my concerns and can tell when life is working on me based on the condition of my skin when I see her, and does what she deems necessary to get me back on track (wit hmy approval). If it's internal issues or external, she'll let you know how to improve. Don't be afraid to talk to her, look at it as you helping her help you. (This is not a paid review.)

Mazna does an outstanding job in providing multiple skin services with a detailed touch. As I was prepping my skin for my wedding I came across Mazna. She listened to my concerns and made recommendations as well as provided tips. We went through 5 sessions of Micro-needling which helped with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The results are absolutely amazing!! I recommend Mazna who has many years of experience to anyone who is looking for quality improvement with their skin. Lastly, I highly recommend her microdermabrasion and hydra-facial which leaves your skin glowing for weeks.
