Today was my third time getting my hair done at Kadis. They are always professional and friendly. I drive over an hour to come here and it’s definitely worth the drive.

I had such a wonderful experience at this African hair braiding shop! The ladies were so patient and kind with my nieces, who are very tender-headed. They took their time, worked gently, and made sure the girls were comfortable throughout the process. The braiders really went above and beyond to give them the best hairstyles just in time for back to school, and the results were beautiful!
Thank you so much for your professionalism, patience, and care. I highly recommend this shop—go visit them ASAP, you won’t be disappointed!

This was my first time at the shop, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The shop owner was incredibly sweet, and I was seated right at my appointment time.
My daughter has mixed 4a/4b hair with a fine-to-medium coarse texture, and I specifically asked one of the stylists not to put too much tension in her hair, especially around the edges. Touching her hair at the roots, you can easily feel how fine it is, which should have been a clear sign to adjust the amount of tension used. More than one stylist worked on her hair, and while I told the first stylist about my concerns, it seems that message wasn’t communicated to the next person Unfortunately, the twists were done extremely tight all over, and I can already tell this will cause breakage at the roots if left in. Out of concern for her hair’s health, I’ll have to remove them within the next few days.
While the Senegalese twists are neat, they’re much stiffer than I expected (most likely due to them being too tight), which makes it hard to style them into buns or ponytails as planned. The hair is feels more of box braids.
The work they do is amazing, but this is not the right fit for us

I’ve enjoyed every experience with kadi’s. owner is very responsive and accommodating, stylist in the shop are very welcoming, great prices and quality work (styles last great). As someone new to the area, this is by far the best services i’ve found in woodbridge.

I came here cheating on my regular braider, and let me just say, it's over between us now because I looooove Ms Kadi's work! Met another first timer and she was smiling too, we both got a glow up that day lol. They accept card, but bring cash for tips because others will wash your hair or do prep before the styling, and we gotta support them too!
