Based on the reviews, Winchester Health & Rehabilitation is a top quality facility that offers around-the-clock skilled nursing in a residential setting. The staff is the real strength, with CNAs who are the heart and soul of the facility, being excellent, caring, and compassionate. The nursing staff is very professional and friendly, and the management is available and accommodating. The therapists are outstanding, using innovative approaches and new technology. The facility is the cleanest nursing home, with a top quality rating. The kindness is overwhelming, and the care is perfection. The therapy group and social workers are outstanding, and the staff treats everyone like family. One reviewer noted that after four months, a resident went from not being able to walk or feed herself to living on her own. The team helped with everything from cleaning to taking care of cats, and they help navigate Medicare and Medicaid. The only downside is the food, which does not always adhere to dietary preferences due to corporate budget constraints, though the dietary manager is accessible. Winchester Health & Rehabilitation would be at the top of the list for overall quality.
My mom was well taken care of for her time there. She has done real well after leaving because of their care and would reccommend them to anybody who needs it. Mom also wanted to mention some of her care team also because she was glad to have them, so thank you tp Tia, Billie, Penni, Claudia, Donika, Jazmin, Arthia, Lexus, Frannie, and the rest of the great staff for making sure my mom got healthy enough and ready enough to come home.
Of the three such facilities in this area, Winchester Health and Rehabilitation would be at the top of my list as far as overall quality, which was this was my third stay in the last 3 years, and other local similar facilities. I think that because of their smaller size, they are able to provide better care, even with the shortage in this industry of good staff. I like the way that the rooms are laid off, and even seem slightly larger than other similar facilities.

From day one , my husband and I knew he would have expert care. The kindness was overwhelming from everyone & the care was perfection.The RN's, LPN's, CNA's, the therapy group, and the social workers were outstanding. The PT & OT depts should be commended for their professionalism, expertise, & caring ways. Love the personalities! We thank every dept & every individual in the facility for such kindness.It was obvious you cared about us! I sincerely thank all of you from the bottom of my heart-
