I took my 8 year old daughter here to get a wash and set… I sat in the back with her while they washed and conditioned her hair.. I go to the bathroom they have my daughter under the dryer with a chemical in her hair… I asked what it was the claim it was a deep conditioner… we proceeded to go to the front to get her straight.. we get home and my daughter hair looks good at first.. after I washed her hair I noticed her curl pattern was destroyed.. my daughter hair was touching her butt and now the whole middle of her head is no longer than my pinky.. all my daughter hair fell out… the lady who did her hair was the lady who is always in the front seat.. now I have to keep her hair braided up so it can grow back.. do not go here!!!!! If you are natural go somewhere else.. I don’t know if the relaxed her hair or if it’s heat damage but I know her hair is destroyed

Vanessa is my stylist and she always makes sure my hair is on point. I always get compliments on my hair and my hair last for at least 4-6 weeks. This hair salon is definitely one of the top Dominican salons in Virginia!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! I took my 9yr old here for her 9th birthday a week ago and specifically asked for a “WASH AND SET” a set means a roller set! I sat in the back where the wash bowls and dryers are and watched my daughter get her hair washed. I waited for her to bring my daughter back to put her under the dryer with the rollers in her hair, that never happened. I walked back up to the front and saw that my daughter’s hair was almost finished which means she took that steam blow dryer and dried my daughter’s natural hair and flat ironed which is NOT what I asked for. After we left my daughter said she was sad because she saw pieces of her hair falling on the floor. Her hair smelled burnt. I washed her hair again to get the burnt smell out and her natural curl pattern is completely ruined, more of hair hair started to fall out from all the eat damage. I took her back up there and spoke to the owner, Vanessa who treated her hair and gave me someone products to use at home. And informed me that if it needs to be blown out in the future that she is the only one to do it. I also asked if that particular stylist that didn’t my daughter’s hair that day was licensed because what would possess her to go against what I asked for and also use that much heat that is damaging! My child’s hair is ruined! I’ll have to keep cutting it to get rid of the damaged hair instead of doing the big chop on my 9yr old. DO NOT TAKE YOUR NATURAL HAIR CHILD TO THIS SALON EXPECT THEM TO PROVIDE WHAT YOU ASKED FOR BECAUSE THEY WILL DO WHATS FASTEST AND MORE CONVENIENT FOR THEM DESPITE YOU BEING A PAID CUSTOMER! I paid $68 for my child to come out with damaged hair! She has broken off pieces of hair all in the middle I didn’t photograph yet. It’s so damaged and thing now. And her hair isn’t that hard to manage wet and in its natural state so she ruined my child’s hair out of laziness and lack of knowledge!

I have been taking before and after pictures of my hair since early 2024. I asked her for a hair trim and she cut my hair. She stated she was evening my hair out but I never asked for that, I asked for my ends to be TRIMMED.
