Located minutes away from the Virginia Beach Town Center is a family owned Barbershop. I've been coming here for a couple of years, and I came here on a whim because I wanted a traditional barbershop with an in and out experience with solid service. And I found exactly what I was looking for. Pon and her staff are excellent, professional, kind and most important of all great at their job, making people look better than when they walked in :) Today I was greeted by Pon, Dianne, and Brandon. They were extra welcoming and super nice. This is why they have a loyal clientele regardless of what others may say. Before I wrote my review I went through other reviews too and here are my comments. - The interior can use a little upgrade but it didnt bother me because I trust them and the good job they always do. - Dianne is fresh out of school & she is continuously learning new things here and there. Is she perfect? No. So for everyone that had complaints, cut her some slack please. - Pon is super nice and always smiling. I love her attention to detail and her recommendations she gives. She makes sure the cut you get from her suits you and is shaped for your facial structure. She's concerned. - I would call ahead of time for an appointment. Because theyre so in demand walking in is a hit or miss. - I saw someone say that they make take a while per cut. Based on my observation, not everyone's hair is the same. There's no standard way of cutting. But like I mentioned they are very detailed and precise in the way the cuts look & customer satisfaction. But yeah above all else I say Give them a try, I did and I haven't been disappointed since. ;)
Sometimes in life when you aren't really looking, you happen to find a gem and that's exactly what Towne Center Barber Shop and the people who work there are. I'm not as comfortable in public anymore as I used to be but this family owned establishment is very laid back and comfortable and the people are so nice. Brandon cut my hair and I don't usually give myself compliments but he hooked me up and did a wonderful job. The conversation with Ms Diane and Ms Tan and Brandon was a fun little escape from reality and they are very good, caring people. Was in town for our granddaughter's birth and needed a haircut. Found this place on the google machine. Old school barbershop near Virginia town center. Proprietor Pon was delightful. She was attentive, engaging and very friendly. Very pleased with my haircut, and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop!.
