Having our two year old chocolate lab at Ships corner has made such a difference in his behavior. He is more relaxed, listens better, is always so happy go there and happy when he gets home. As he has progressed there he has played with almost every dog. It's made him more calm and more comfortable around other dogs and small children. The staff knows how to handle and recognize their different personalities and dedicate a lot of time to keeping all the pups on a schedule. They are personable and have great listening and communication skills. We are extremely happy with the time that Archie has been there and give them 5 sparkling stars!!
A little late on this review but I wanted to write:
During thanksgiving I was boarding my dogs at Shipps Corner like I have done many times in the past. My older dog started having diarrhea and did not want to go outside and was soiling herself in the kennel. They went out of their way to care for my dog to include a trip to the Vet and make sure my dog recovered. I cannot thank this place enough and even though I have moved somewhat out of the area I will drive the 1-1.5hrs back to board my dogs again in the future. Their dog daycare is great and my dogs sprint into the facility when we arrive. Sloan, Star and Sadie certainly enjoy all the attention.
Highly recommend this place they always treat my dog (Coral) so good. She's never hesitant on going in. My husband is a 1st responder and he always takes her so she's well cared for, all the people working there know my husband and dog like we are family. I am so thankful for this place
