Dr Kim is wonderful. For those complaining he's services are expensive then go elsewhere. All acupuncture treatments are pricey and insurance typically does not cover any of it. Dr. Kim needs to make his money for the services he is providing. For $90 a session, that's very reasonable. He's kind and compassionate and is awesome at what he does. Sometimes it takes some people to get numerous sessions especially when they have a condition that requires more treatments to start feeling better. In all, Dr. Kim is very well worth the visit. Kudos to him.

I had an abnormal Pap test. The test result was alarming and only happens in one in a thousand abnormal results. I asked Dr Kim for help. After a few months of treatment, I can gladly say everything is back to normal. He’s kind, compassionate, and gentle natured. His treatments are pain free and highly effective. It’s really quite beautiful that acupuncture can do so much.

I went here after a car accident which messed my back and neck up really bad. It wasn't the kind of immediate relief I was accustomed to with a chiropractor, but within a day or 2 I was 100% pain free. Kim was great, definitely recommend

Went to see Dr Kim back in 2014 for issues conceiving. Within the first month of treatment, while I waited for my initial appointment with a fertility Clinic, I conceived and was able to call and cancel my fertility consultation. I carried my child to full term and delivered my baby with absolutely no medical intervention. My only regret is not continuing treatment while pregnant. I look forward to using his services again, for other issues, and highly recommend this practice.

I decided to check out Acupuncture after a friend of mine said that it was recommended to her for stress and anxiety. I did a little bit of research and saw that other people thought it was good for that as well. I was looking for someone that my insurance worked with when I stumbled upon Dr. Kims website. He was half the price of other folks in the area and had pretty good google and Yelp reviews. His site also specifically addressed stress and anxiety so I called and made an appointment. There was actually an appointment the very next day in the Virginia beach office. There is also an office in Newport News. Once I got there his very sweet wife had me fill out some papers and showed me to the room. I explained to Dr. Kim what was happening and he told me to lay down and he began inserting the needles Very slight initial discomfort in tender areas like the ears but nothing unbearable. Once he put all the needles in he turned on the heat machine and told me to relax. I honestly was in the most relaxed state that I think I have ever been in. It felt like hypnosis. I was conscious but having pleasant thoughts. I couldn't think of a negative thought if I tried. My session was approximately 1 hour. Once I left I was still relaxed for the remainder of the night. Great use of $75 if you need to relax or you suffer from anxiety. I will definitely be returning.

I have been visiting Dr. Kim for many months now and went to him to prepare for a planned IVF cycle. We started appointments 3 months prior to starting the cycle. Dr. Kim is warm and easy to talk to. He is also the best acupuncturist that I have ever visited. I ended up not doing my IVF cycle, because I became pregnant naturally 2 months after beginning my treatments. I am still seeing Dr Kim throughout my pregnancy and will continue to see him. I couldn't recommend him enough- he is amazing! Whether it's your first time exploring acupuncture, or you have visited other providers in the past, Dr Kim is a must!!

Outstanding doctor. Dr. Kim has helped to improve my quality of life tremendously. He has helped me with my chronic pain, digestive problems, weight, and fatigue. I enjoy going to his welcoming office and interacting with him and Mrs. Kim. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with Dr. Kim.
