My daughters and I came here as walk-ins and two of the lovely women who worked here managed to get all 3 of us in, between their appointments, and get our haircuts done in a timely fashion. My 15 y.o. daughter asked for a haircut I thought would be difficult and the woman just breezed through and NAILED IT. The women took extra care to ensure we were comfortable and happy with their work and both my daughters left feeling confident and beautiful.

Hair by the Shore is awesome. I used to get my Hair cut and styled by Mali over 20 years ago before she went back to Thailand for some time. Not a day went by when Mail did my hair that I wasn't asked "who cut your hair". Over the years I've been back & forth to different salons all over Virginia Beach and Norfolk with simi satisfied hair cuts. Now that I found Mail again - I gathered some of my kids to get hair cuts too. ~ ask for Mali

This is a newer hair salon replacing another one in the same location. We were referred to them by the nail shop beside them. Parking will not be a problem and I found the lot and sidewalk in front of the business clean. The shop has room for several hair stylist and they are looking for help. The salon was clean and presented well. Jessica cut both my daughters hair and ended up cutting my son's too since he needed cleaned up before school started. She took a lot of time on ensuring that both had great cuts. The hair cuts ran $15 per. At check out we found out new customers receive $5 off their first cut so we were thrilled. I can see us coming back.
