I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 20 years, and this was one of the best veterinary experiences I’ve ever had. We were referred here for a surgical consult for our 11-year-old Labrador. Although surgery isn’t an option and her long-term prognosis isn’t good, Dr. Andronescu was incredibly kind, compassionate, and, most importantly, informative.
She took the time to clearly explain the diagnosis, the “why” behind it, and all of our care options. We left feeling fully informed and supported, with no unanswered questions. My Chihuahua became extremely ill due to his advanced heart disease. I tried calling our vet who is not this group six times and could not get a hold of them, even after leaving a message. I called a dozen places in Virginia Beach trying to get help and BluePearl was the only place that actually answered their phone. They got us in right away and unfortunately, we had to put our boy down, they accommodated us and were extremely caring and sensitive to our needs. Very happy with treatment our cat was given, especially for working us in on a busy day. The front desk was very friendly. Dr. McManus and the vet assistant gave her a thorough examination and walked us through treatment options - they were transparent about pricing and other details. We left with the necessary medicine and clear instructions. Our cat responded very well to the meds and is doing great!
