Today was the horrible day that all families fear. Having to put your loved one down for their own good and releasing from the pain. I called beach pet hospital first thing in the morning and immediately got us in. We have been using a different vet for the past several years and they keep pushing his appointment back. Beach pet hospital not only was able to get us in right away but made the best of the situation with their great staff. This was my first dog and I didn’t realize how tough it would be when the time came. BPH took care of us and our dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better vet to help. I have been taking both of my dogs here for over 5 years now and all the Drs, techs, and staff are so friendly, helpful, and understanding with my dogs. It has always been easy to get an appointment quickly if something pops up randomly (like an ear infection or hot spot which both my dogs are prone to). I highly recommend trusting Beach Pet Hospital with all your pet’s needs!
The technician Ericca did a phenomenal job helping me put my old man down. He has been in excruciating pain for quite some time and stopped eating. I was a mess. She commonly helped me through every step of the process, communicating the whole way, and ensuring I was OK before she started or completed any of it. When it was over, she even offered for me to take home some kind of memorabilia of my baby boy. I couldn’t have done this without her kindness, compassion, and patience. Thank you to her and the amazing staff for making this transition a little more tolerable.
