So this is not the vet that you normally want to see if your Animal is very sick, and with that being said, the Dr. and the staff are the nicest, kindest, and most empathetic in their field. This is not the type of vet you would see for a normal appointment, this is where you go when everything else is failing and you need answers. They have been so wonderful to work with and so kind during hard times. I can’t say enough good things about them.

This is an exceptional vet practice. I’ve used every specialty vet in the area and this is the best - no question. The staff all work easily 60+ hours a week between seeing patients, delivering test results, and responding to emails and voicemails. You always see the same faces over the years because they’re a family - not just coworkers. I’ve now taken five cats over the years to see Dr. Berdoulay. Two for cancer treatment recently. Not only did we know that we were getting the best possible advice and care, but we knew that our pets’ (and our own) quality of life was the highest priority. Five stars really isn’t high enough of a rating for me.

Update: changing my review to 1 star. I cannot get anyone to answer my emails or call me back. My primary vet is also unable to reach anyone at this office, and said they have another client having the exact same issue and they had to go in person to even talk to anyone. I guess I'll need to do the same. Summary of my review is Dr. Berdoulay is great during your appointment, but don't go here if you expect any sort of medical records or follow up after the appointment.
I am so fed up with this practice. My appointment was almost 4 months ago and I still have not been able to get a copy of the visit records.
I took my cats in for a non-emergent consult after both experienced severe mystery fevers. AVUE got my appointment scheduled just a couple weeks out, which was quicker than I expected. They tell you up front to expect to spend 2 hours for the initial appointment. I went in prepared for that, but it was over 3 and a half hours. Dr. Berdoulay is great. Very thorough, took time to talk me through everything and answer all my questions. I got a call from him about 2 weeks later to go through his official assessment and recommendations, and again he took the time to answer everything and I did not feel rushed.
However, I have been unable to get any records to provide to my primary vet. My appointment was in mid-January. It's early May, 14 weeks later, and still no records. I've followed up by phone and email multiple times and am always told they're waiting on the transcription as there have been multiple emergencies. I get it. My cats are currently fine and other pets having active emergencies take priority. But Dr. Berdoulay made specific recommendations for me to follow up with my primary vet and I haven't been able to do it because I can't get the records to know what to do.
Now there is nobody even answering me. No return calls, nobody responds to my emails. The front desk staff is polite and apologetic when I have been able to reach someone, but WOW I really just need those records.

My dog had and ultrasound and a biopsy which turned out well. The doctor was amazing! Very compassionate and understanding. Pricing was very fair. I love this place and highly recommend them.

We were referred here by our regular vet when they suspected our cat had cancer. Unfortunately, that was indeed the issue. We had monthly treatments here for about a year and a half. From delivering the initial news, her regular visits, and at the end, they were so thoughtful and helpful. They were always so excited to see our cat and so glad that she kept doing so well for so long. Our family would definitely recommend this practice.

This review is long overdue. Probably 4 years ago Dr. Berdolay saved my dog's tail!! I thought it was going to have to be amputated but he did chemo injections and when the first kind didnt work, he tried a different kind. I appreciated his dedication and calming demeanor! So happy doggy still has his tail :)

I have brought my pets to Dr. B for many years. He is one of the best and we are lucky to have him in our area. Affordable is relative. Any good vet care is expensive these days, but I will do anything for my pets because they are family members.
