They are the only game in town and they know it. They close at random times and you must check the website before going in to see if the office is open. I checked today and found out the Norfolk office closed. I was there just over 3 weeks ago. No email, snail mail, text....nothing. Just a note on the website saying it was to expensive to operate in Norfolk...we moved you to Great Neck...30 minutes away. Lovely.
Not gonna lie, I entered the address for directions, I immediately saw the bad reviews and got nervous. It was to late for me to cancel and we went to my sons appt. We were greated with smiles and great attitudes. Once called back the lady checking in my son was cheerful and explained what was happening today. Then Lisa Deafenbaugh, PA came in and she was absolutely a gem. She was so explanitory and positive. The rn nurse came in did my son's allergy testing. She was so sweet was quick, efficient, and did her job well. Then the Dr returned and spent more time with us explaining results, suggestions, and helpful tips going forward. Honestly I was so anxious to go through allergy testing after my PCP referred me but wow what an amazing experience! The women at the front desk were so helpful and kind. I instantly felt very welcomed. When I did finally go back the nurse I believe Mia was very kind as well. She explained everything that would be happening in the process and was able to answer any questions I had. She was awesome and kept great conversation, which helped a lot during the testing process. Dr. Pendell was awesome as well! He thoroughly explained my allergens as well as the follow up process. I felt very comfortable and confident in continuing the next steps required to help with my allergies....read full review
