I have a poodle named Jasper. In 2016, he had some skin infection issues, and through a friend's recommendation, we came to this animal hospital. Acredale has been taking care of his health for the past ten years. Two weeks ago, due to his old age, pneumonia, and skin cancer, we visited the hospital. After an efficient and professional examination, Dr. Madison offered several treatment options, and we decided to bring him home and take medicine and keep conservative treatment. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. I called to cancel Jasper's follow-up appointment and let them know we lost him. Today, I received a card from them—thank you for the comfort from Acredale! Once we get through the grief of losing Jasper, we will bring our new puppy back here! Absolutely!

As always, everything from check-in to initial consult to exam and release was excellent. The staff, techs and vets that are part of the process from start to finish are top notch, extremely knowledgeable and very professional.

I called yesterday asking to set up a new pet vet visit. The receptionist offered me an appointment the following day at 7 pm. I was told to arrive 15 Min early with a fecal sample and vet records. When I showed up, I was told there was no appointment made. I showed the girl my call logs. She was rude and treated me as I was making up this information. She then told me a vet could only see me if there were no medical concerns. When I asked why she said “ it’s late and you aren’t scheduled so we are having to fit you in” . I asked her if she felt I was making up that I had a scheduled appointment and just arrived at 7 for fun? “ At this point, I realized this vet and I are not a match and walked out. . Maybe confirm all appointments before showing up because they very likely will not have you scheduled.

Unfortunate and fairly rare recurring root hypoplasia in our Golden Doodle. Several teeth had to be extracted. Vet took great care with him and he is again on the mend. Extraordinary service from Acredale!

I always receive excellent care for my pets . Recent services included abdominal X-rays and ultrasound to diagnose a new area of swelling .My dog having a cardiac issue , received in depth treatment and options for future care .

Jaxon had 2 growths surgically removed. The staff were all professional and kind and kept me informed of Jaxon’s progress. The doctor called me before, after and a when lab results returned. They called the day after just to check on Jaxon’s overnight progress.

They always take great care of my dog. She’s been going to Acredale since 10 years old. I’ve stayed in multiple states but decided to always bring her back. So thankful for how well Acredale looks after her
Adding- I was on travel for work and my grandfather took her in. They were nice enough to speak to me over the phone while looking after Cali. Knowledgeable, reasonable, accommodating, 10/10. I’ve always had a great visit. M

Everyone was very friendly. I was seen at my appointment time or a few minutes early. I have used Acredale Vet on Indian River Road for over 25 yrs and for 4 cats and 2 dogs. Today's visit was a follow-up for xrays & a referal to a heart doctor. The Acredale doctor was very patient in answering all of my questions. I highly recommend Acredale Animal Hospital.
