“I had taken my 12-year-old Staffordshire/Husky/Lab mix to Old Dominion since I found them when Zara was around 2 or so and they just helped her go on to the next world on Jan 23. They always treated Zara and I excellent and last week they went out of their way to help us, they really deserve a metal in my eyes.“

“Took my pooch, Flynn, in as he had broken a canine tooth and it had become infected. They saw him quickly and had the tooth out within 3 days of the initial visit. Great care from Dr. Havrila and staff. All sweethearts. They listened to my concerns and reassured me of his care, and gave a very reasonable cost estimate. Final bill was actually $50 less than the estimate, including the initial visit. Let me also state that I am returning to BVH from VCA Animal Hospital because of significantly higher pricing. Roughly 3X the cost there. Thanks to the staff for taking such good care of my best friend. I'll be back!“

“I was referred to Dr. Grant by my vet because my dog has something going on that needed a specialist to look at. Dr. Grant gave my dog a thorough examination and determined a way forward without surgery. He was very detailed and explained all her xrays and ultrasounds with me. I left with no questions! I'd highly recommend them.“

“This vet office has been super professional and awesome every time they have seen one of my animals. I have not been happy with some vets before but the vets here only recommend what they need to diagnose any problems, vaccines and preventative to keep my animals healthy, and treatment that is needed. They are extremely compassionate and listen to my concerns and answer my questions in a way i can understand. They have always worked with me on my budget, which can be very tight at times. Their prices are awesome and extremely reasonable compared to other vets that I have seen. They are definitely the vet office to go to!!

Update 3/28/25- still going here. They are my go to vet with my animals.

Update 12/5/25- they have seen my animals and 2 have went over the rainbow bridge under their care....nothing to do with the vet, but all due to old age and ailments from that. Their care has always been kind and compassionate and I know they care for my babies as much as I do.“

“I took my 10 month old Maltese here to the emergency vet last night. It was my first time taking her to an emergency vet. The vet was awesome with my dog and she is feeling better already! My pup was scratching and licking at her paws, not wanting to eat and feeling very down. But this vet really fixed her up and sent her home with some good medicine and recommendations! We were seen in a timely manor, and Dr.Rachel Carey was very informative about all her findings, and explained them in a way we could understand. All the staff was very nice as well! I would give this vet 10/5 stars if I could!! We will definitely be transferring to this place as her normal veterinary practice in the future!!! Thank you!!“
