“We are a military family transferring here from overseas. It was extremely important for us to locate a Taekwondo academy that would provide traditional Korean techniques, disciplines, & respect. My daughter has been in TaeKwonDo since the age of 3. As a military child, she had to transfer twice before arriving here. This academy would be her third. Although, each Academy has their unique way of teaching, it was a top priority that our duaghter was recognized and evaluated for her previous tenure and experience in TaeKwonDo. Master Hwang was understanding, so he helped create an individual progress criteria for our daughter. This meant our daughter would have to demonstrate to all staff & instructors that she was equipped with the skills, committed to improvement, and dedicated to achieve all that was expected of her. We have been here 4months and our daughter has been thriving in his academy, she has already promoted up the ranks (belts) and has shown great strength and passion.
