“WOW! That says it all, but I'll still provide some info.<br>I had a small project for some repair (mainly improvement) to an existing walkway and brickwork and had tried numerous contractors. Unfortunately, everyone wanted big-project prices for a small project, that is if they would even take on the job. Constant replies of "we only do large projects" made me very skeptical that I would be able to get this one done. Then, I found PT&L in the Gainesville/Haymarket Lifestyle magazine.<br><br>Gave them a call and was told sure, we can take a look. Hans came out and gave me some encouraging info and said yes, they could certainly do the work. A short time after that I received the estimate, and it was less than half of what the "others" wanted. I agreed and off we went.<br><br>Weather delayed the start, but once the crew got to work I was very impressed with their work ethic and overall willingness to go the extra mile. They never stopped working, didn't mess around with unnecessary things, and kept on the task at hand. When they were done, site cleanup was thorough, and they made sure to touch up any areas that needed it. The finished work looks great (we like it better than the original) very natural and definitely improved the overall look of our entry walkway.<br><br>In addition to the original work, when I let Hans know there was a small touch up needed on something he didn't hesitate for a second to say it would be taken care of. A couple days later (after the rains cleared) the crew came back out, did the touch up and even touched up a couple other spots that I didn't even notice. Nothing major, just effects of the materials curing over a couple days. Needless to say, the touch ups were done with the same quality and attention to detail as the original project. My compliments to Elmer (lead) Juan, and the other gentleman whose name I did not get. They were polite, friendly, focused and obviously interested in doing a good job.<br><br>My overall regret with choosing PT&L is that I have not used them sooner! I will make them my first choice in the future, recommend them to my neighbors and give them my highest recommendation to anyone that needs work done. Call these folks first...you won't regret it!”

Deckscapes of Virginia delivered! They delivered on cost, communication, design, professionalism and work ethic.<br><br>From visiting their website, to accessing the available price calculator, we had a ballpark estimate of what our project could potentially cost. The price calculator is an excellent tool. It not only gave us an idea of how much our project could cost, it gave us the opportunity to add or take away features based on our budget.<br><br>After exploring the price calculator and submitting our information, we received a phone call and email within hours of our submission to discuss our project wants, needs and desires. Within a week we met, spent time and walked our property with John who took the opportunity to build a relationship with us and to get a true feel for what we wanted. John built trust, provided his honest thoughts and opinions which ultimately led to an amazing design for our backyard.<br><br>From the design to the finished product, Deckscapes communicated the steps, the process and what we could expect along the way. Deckscapes made sure we had 24/7 access to ask questions and communicate concerns. Tyler, our project manager, Kim the overall supervisor and John were professional and responsive to all our questions and concerns. Tyler was present and on site multiple times a day to monitor the progress of our project and to ensure the crew stayed on task.<br><br>Throughout the entire project the crew took great pride in their skilled trade. They worked hard, paid attention to detail, asked us our thoughts and wanted to make sure we were happy with the outcome of their work. They maintained a well organized worksite and at the end of the day the crew made sure the worksite was clean and all tools were in the appropriate places.<br><br>Once the project was complete, Tyler did a walkthrough and pointed a few things out to us. He quickly resolved the issues, scheduled the crew to return and provided swift solutions. Tim, the customer service manager met with us to discuss the warranties in place for products used and workmanship of our finished project. Tim reinsured us that if an issue ever arises that all we had to do is pick up the phone and call him directly, that speaks volumes.<br><br>Deckscapes of Virginia exceeded our expectations and their professionalism was truly appreciated. “I recommend Kane Landscapes with the absolute highest rating! I met Josh Kane in 2009 when we lived in McLean and had just installed a 35K gallon freeform pool in our backyard. We hired him to landscape the backyard, build a pool house, and install a stone retaining wall and pavers around the pool. Everything turned out so beautifully that we hired him again 15 years later when we moved to Alexandria and built a new home. This time we needed two stone retaining walls, as well as landscaping for the front, back, and side yards. We consistently have neighbors asking us what kind of grass we planted, what trees and shrubs are blooming, what kind of pavers we used, etc. This is all due to Josh’s team doing their job so well.<br>Josh was excellent about listening to what I wanted and then finding a way to deliver exactly that. I am very detail-oriented and he did not disappoint. But if you have no idea what you want to do, he is also a fantastic resource to bounce ideas off of, or you can ask him what he thinks and you can make decisions that way. He has a great deal of knowledge about local flora and will suggest plants and trees that will thrive in our area. He has good contractors on his team and if anything goes wrong, he is quick to address it. He’s also great about answering questions post-project. You can tell he loves what he does and I would trust him completely with any future landscape project.”

The lawn still looks freshly mowed days later despite the length being left a bit longer for a healthier lawn. This usually results in an uncut look after a few days but not with the outstanding job LawnGreen Solutions does! (Not sure how they do it!)
