This dojo, and the arts taught therein, will transform you. Even though it's a school for serious adults, every class is still a ton of fun. You'll meet truly wonderful people - some who have been training there for decades and some for only a few weeks. The dojo itself is a very supportive environment, the teachers are patient and welcoming to beginners but will still run senior students through extremely grueling training that will blast you through your limits. I've never had a day of martial arts training before walking into Great Falls Budokan on a whim, and six years later I still look forward to every class… hopefully that tells you something!

Joining Great Falls Budokan has been a transformative experience. I found in the practice of Kenjutsu, a formal swordsmanship discipline, the integration of breath, mind, and spirit while maintaining a great sense of awareness within movement. The instruction is of great quality, the participants are dedicated, and after each class you will feel uplifted. I highly recommend Great Falls Budokan.
