TL;DR - terrible customer service, the technician that did the installation did not understand me well because of a language barrier, but they seem to have done a good job replacing a major part in my ACI was assigned to these guys by First American Home Warranty (terrible home warranty company, don’t recommend). I find their customer service to be deplorable. Every time I would call to get a better explanation of the required repairs or replacement on my AC, I would get told that a technician would call me back and sometimes that would happen, sometimes that wouldn’t. I purchased a home with a 25+ year old HVAC system so it was no surprise to me when the furnace finally conked out 4 years later. I placed a claim with AHS who sent out Cool Factory. The technician was prompt and quickly confirmed that the furnace should not be used and would need to be replaced. I decided to have the entire unit replaced to avoid further issues and to use Cool Factory's services to do so. I was not disappointed. The team of 2 technicians arrived promptly and worked continuously to remove the old unit and install the new unit.

Recently, I had an issue with my HVAC unit. Although the unit was running, it was not releasing heat to warm up the house. The technician who first came to diagnose the issue really didn’t know what was going on. After spending an hour and half, he recommended to replace the unit because according to him the unit was too old. I told him I built this house 7 years ago and it could not be that old. I didn’t feel comfortable with him and called the Cool Factory.
