“Saunders removed our 90 yr old slate roof, underlayment, and flashings; installed a new underlayment and flashing, and reinstalled the salvaged slate replacing around 15% that was broken. They also replace a section of 60-yr old metal with a new membrane. Final product looks very good, and the old slate is visually indistinguishable from the replacements. As an architect with 45 years of practice I could quibble about a few minor details, but nothing major. I left one star off because the crew should have covered the ground better to catch the slate they tossed off the roof. As a result, our car found a roofing nail in the driveway, but Saunders was quick to deduct the cost of that tire from the final bill. I would certainly recommend them for anyone's slate work.“

The two employees, who showed up on time, were very courteous, knowledgeable, and spent about 90 minutes on the roof. Within two days we had their written report, which was very detailed. At this point I would call them for future issues. FYI - we have flat roofs and they were the 2nd roofers to look at these issues.“
