“The project was a both garage addition as well as building a new deck. The experience with Pitman was considerably better than those I have had with some other construction companies. The communication was frequent and clear, there were no surprises. Except for the day the neighbor's tree fell on my house! That day they responded immediately and fixed what they could to keep us safe. Construction continued the next day.
The on site crews arrived at a consistent time each morning, got right to work and except for lunch breaks, worked all day. They cleaned up the work site at the end of every day.
While home construction is always a disruption in the routine, John, Bill and crew took care to minimize the chaos and keep us all safe. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. It was obvious the the subs and all the craftsmen were experienced and accustomed to doing good quality work. It was nice to overhear the friendly banter between the crew. They seemed to be friends as well as co-workers so the atmosphere was pleasant on the site. When big challenges arose they worked together and problem solved. There was an intern as part of the crew and they took time to explain and teach while completing the tasks at hand.
