I have not had consistent, professional, and thorough experiences with VEI since Dr. Walter T. Bundy, III. However, I think that streak has ended. Dr. Kahn, the Macular Edema Specialist, is awesome! He’s patient, professional, and thorough and answers questions without making you feel rushed or stupid. He works with and for the patient.
His Practice Coordinator, Debra, is just as wonderful. She responds quickly and professionally via phone or in person with needed documentation and questions.

The people at VEI are always friendly, efficient and quick to respond to patients needs. My visits run smoothly and there is not a lot of wasted time sitting around waiting like I have at some medical practices I have been to over the years.

I've been a patient here for 8+ years, but not any longer. 8 years ago a VEI doctor picked up on symptoms that masked a life threatening condition. He personally got on the phone with my insurer to clear the way for me to get the tests I needed, that day. Since then, they've gotten larger, offered more services and become increasingly difficult to work with. Making an appointment is nearly impossible online and calling into to schedule takes hours to complete. My wife, got two incorrect prescriptions in as many months and today, I had an early morning appointment and still sat waiting for an hour. I finally told them I was leaving without having been seen by the doctor--- medically I've had great experiences, but operationally, they've been getting steadily worse-- time to vote with my feet.
