About VCU Health Adult Outpatient Pavilion
VCU Health Adult Outpatient Pavilion is a healthcare facility known for its friendly staff, cleanliness, and timely appointments. Patients appreciate the dedication of the medical team, which includes highly educated professionals who earn trust and loyalty. The facility offers a range of services, including outpatient appointments and dentistry. Many patients have received life-saving care at VCU, with some traveling over four hours to continue treatment, highlighting the trust placed in the providers. Staff members are consistently described as warm, compassionate, and caring, often going above and beyond to support patients through difficult times. Several reviews mention that the staff's kindness and dedication leave lasting positive impressions. However, some challenges are noted, especially regarding parking. Recent parking arrangements are considered inconvenient, with patients wishing for transportation options from the garage to the hospital, as walking long distances or waiting for valet can be problematic. Inpatient meals are also mentioned as an area needing improvement. Billing issues have caused frustration for some, with reports of confusing and inconsistent communication about bills and insurance coordination. Patients also highlight exceptional individual providers, such as Dr. Rajbir Chaggar, who has helped a patient’s son with cerebral palsy, and Dr. Pox, who provides optimistic and engaging care for cancer patients. Overall, VCU Health is praised for its caring staff, quality care, and supportive environment, despite some logistical and administrative challenges.
I do medical appointments at VCU, including dentistry. It's full of wonderful people, clean, on time, appointments pretty quick. My biggest complaint is that it's very difficult to get parking. It's also difficult to find where you're going with some floors on different elevators and having to switch elevators.
VCU health saved my life. I practically lived inside the hospital for over a month.
Staff are always so friendly. Medical staff are well educated and have earned my trust and loyalty.
I live over 4 hours away and go to RVA to continue to be a patient at VCU.
***Only downside is the new parking for guests/patients. Can't say I'm thrilled with new arrangements and feel that there should be TRANSPORT from the parking garage to hospital. Not everyone can physically walk that distance or feels safe at night. Yes, valet is an option but it can get extremely busy. Not only that but some don't want to pay the $5 or wait a lengthy time to get vehicle back.
