Swift academy is a great place to obtain your CDL. Instructors were professional. Overall a great experience.

This is the worst driving school ever! The instructors were always yelling and screaming, and they are racists. Craig Lague, Joe, and even the academy leader Neil Killion are not good; he keeps supporting his instructors only and doesn't listen well to students. Last week, I had a test with other students, but our test was cancelled because they had to renew their DMV third-party license testers or something like that, and they transferred us to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the test. We went there, and before that, they told us it's the same thing - same course - and even while giving the test, it would be the same. But once we arrived there, most of the parts were different, including the pre-trip inspection, parallel parking, and the road test (skills test) was also different. Utah taught us more advanced safety things and about trucks. And we had to restudy in one day, and the next day was the test. Thank God I passed there. Overall, I had a good experience in Salt Lake, Utah, compared to Richmond, Virginia. Don't ever go to this place, or you'll be disappointed and fail. They don't teach you well here. They teach you once, and after that, you're on your own, but if you start making mistakes, they start yelling and screaming at you. In Salt Lake City, Utah, they taught you professionally, even if you made a mistake, they would still help you with your mistakes. They were very nice, had a nice tone, good body language, and were always positive with you. I would give zero stars to Richmond and five stars to Salt Lake City, Utah. Please Don't ever go to Richmond for Swift Driving Academy!

Would give it zero stars. Regrettable experience. The staff and instructors gossip about the students (like myself). One instructor kept flirting with me and other female students, which is very unprofessional. Racist rants from subpar students saying I had a "bomb key", making fun of my appearance instead of focusing on their schooling. Told the proper authorities, nothing was done about it. Yet I was the issue. Staff and students discouraging me, wanting me to go home, wanting to kick me out, etc. Hotel staff was unfriendly. Overall terrible experience. If you don't look like a "dyke" or have a "near eastern" heritage, and you are a woman, do not bother coming here.

I wouldn't recommend swift transportation driving school, Instructors sit in a van all day don't do anything to help you. The classmates in there were trouble! From talking to employees it's not a good place to work

Nice but small office. Staff is helpful and friendly. That's what counts.

The instructors are TOP NOTCH, everyone from John that does the classroom to all the instructors out on the range.. Aaron,Joe,Craig, Caleb, and Cowboy!! they bring so many years of experience and are willing to make sure you pass! They definitely don’t hold your hand, they teach you the tools to pass and it’s up to you to put all the knowledge they taugh you together to pass. I can’t say enough about the school, fast paced but well worth it! I wouldn’t recommend any other school, The academy leader “Mark” has an open door policy, he even comes in the classroom and welcomes you and tells you what’s excepted! All the teachers are there for YOU! Definitely learned a lot!! THANKS SWIFT!Class R600!! We did it!!!
