I met with Elizabeth Stanley, PT,DPT,CBIS for my evaluation, it was an extremely good experience, I will be working with her on my balance issues.

In November I fell down the steps and my arm got caught behind me. My shoulder hurt real bad, it was waking me up in the middle of the night. I stood from a push up and had to sit down with tears in my eyes

I eventually ended up in sheltering arms after going to patient first. I was in the care of Josh Denoncourt and CJ Pilong. I had never been in physical therapy a day in my life, I’d only heard horror stories. I had so much fun with Josh and CJ that I just had to write review. They were awesome. I looked forward to working with them. They were knowledgeable, fun to talk to, and helped me pull myself back together. I was just discharged today and they will be missed. My shoulder is back in working order and I have the tools to make sure it stays that way! SHOUT OUT JOSH AND CJ!!!

I just had an excellent experience with Kimberly Wade who registered me as a new patient at Sheltering Arms outpatient clinic. She ws warm, patient ,kind, professional, competent, proficient. She was thorough and went the extra mile. She was busy and multi tasking during her time with me.She was still able to be present and engaging. She was interested in me and made me feel like I was the only person in the room.It is unusual to have such a warm experience in today’s world.I felt today’s experience was a gift.

Very awful customer service, I took the appointment with them and address says Richmond . JBS took us to Richmond road not Bon air. We called them to explain our situation and that we will be late 15 minutes. They said we have to reschedule. These people don’t have any awareness of how a patient struggles and needs a medical attention. However if the delay comes from them it’s okay for the patient to wait but if it’s from a patient who was given a Richmond address and the appointment is on Bon air they don’t understand. So ridiculous and I will definitely have to find another place who respects and understands the patient needs.
0 to this location. Nasty customer service

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your exceptional care
and guidance during my rehabilitation. When I began my journey after
my surgeries, the path ahead seemed daunting and filled with pain.
Josh Denoncount, your encouragement and unwavering support made all the difference. Thank you for knowing exactly when to push me and when to show
patience. You challenged me to work through the pain, and it was that
tough love that led to the significant progress I've made. I am so
thankful for your expertise and for making me believe in my own ability to heal.
Your kindness, understanding, and sense of humor made each session not
just bearable, but something I looked forward to. You didn't just help me rehab my leg; you helped me regain my confidence and determination. I trusted you and your process and that helped make all the difference. I truly couldn't have done it without you.

    Thank you,
    Kathy Collier

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I’ve benefited from PT, OT, and Speech therapy after an aneurysm in my brain. My husband has benefited from PT, OT, and speech therapy after a reoccurrence of issues from a previous stroke. He’s currently using the services of a fitness therapist there.

All therapist are very knowledgeable and work hard to rebuild skills while offering encouragement to all clients.

The facility is currently being renovated and we look forward to seeing the new facelift.
