Its commitment to sustainability includes using recycled materials for all packaging and marketing. The atmosphere is quiet and calming, making it perfect for a self-care day. Clients appreciate the effectiveness of the organic, house-made products, noting they leave skin glowing and free of reactions. The massage therapists are highly skilled, providing deep tissue massage and personalized attention to problem areas. Services include facials, pedicures, manicures, and massages, all focused on comfort and relaxation. The new location has some changes, with clients mentioning that the seats can be hard to get into and out of, and the space sometimes feels a bit cluttered with products for sale. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains enjoyable, and the staff is consistently professional, competent, and warm. I have been going to Perception Organic Spa for over a decade, and it’s still one of my favorite places to relax and be pampered in RVA. A friend introduced me years ago, and I kept coming back because of the calming, spa-like atmosphere; so different from other salons that rush you in and out.
Hang (the owner) is so kind and thoughtful, and Kim and Thi have been my go-to girls all these years.
Every facial and massage I’ve had here has been truly five-star. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel cared for and leave completely relaxed, this is it.
I have been coming here for two years for organic gel manicures and pedicures. I have always been impressed by the precision, professionalism, calm/relaxing environment and cleanliness. Today I had my first 90 min deep tissue massage with Kat. It was truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She listened to my needs before beginning and delivered beyond expectation. Not only did she help with some musculoskeletal issues I’ve been having but I was more mentally relaxed then I have been in months. True zen. Will certainly be adding this to my self care routine. Thank you Perception for continuing to impress me and offer such excellent service and care!
Such an amazing experience!!! I booked a spa day for my son's 16th birthday and from my perspective and also my son's, it was wonderful and exceeded our expectations ❤️✨🙏🏾 From entry into the facility, everyone was so warm and inviting. The massage room was huge and the waiting area was secluded and comfortable with house tea upon arrival. The cheese plate was beautiful and scrumptious- the best I've ever had! Everything was just beautiful! He enjoyed his massage, facial and pedicure. It was very calm and relaxing.
