Saunders removed our 90 yr old slate roof, underlayment, and flashings; installed a new underlayment and flashing, and reinstalled the salvaged slate replacing around 15% that was broken. They also replace a section of 60-yr old metal with a new membrane. Final product looks very good, and the old slate is visually indistinguishable from the replacements. As an architect with 45 years of practice I could quibble about a few minor details, but nothing major. I left one star off because the crew should have covered the ground better to catch the slate they tossed off the roof. Jeff Stanley was great & got back with us with price to repair copper roof issues. Called to see if we could move up date for repair service (prior to rain) & Ricky was understanding and was able to reschedule. Kalem & 1 other person came out to repair copper roof. Kalem was very knowledgeable & friendly. They finished repair and recommended some other issues that need to be addressed. Received 2nd estimate for work on copper roof and going to have Saunders repair. Would highly recommend Saunders Roofing. Saunders has been our roofer since we bought our house in 1983. They have handled all kinds of roofing issues, including slate and metal. They have searched out solutions and resolved issues diligently. And the people in the office and in the field have been so nice and helpful. I recommend them without hesitation.
