unprofessional! i called on saturday to ask a price and then when i got there i got quoted almost 300$! then they made me get up out my seat to wash someone else. DO NOT GO HERE. will be going on tiktok too .

I wasn’t going to leave a review because the style was nice but the way my hair smells even after shampooing it 3x and conditioning it twice is honestly saddening. I knew coming to a Dominican salon where excessive heat is used would leave a burnt smell but it has been almost two weeks and it still smells like burnt tire rubber, my 5yo even commented saying it smelled burnt without me insinuating that it did. Very minimal product was use for protectant and i felt like I was a rag doll sitting in the chair the way my hair was being handled - pulled from left to right not even taking the time to properly detangle it or making smaller sections to blow out. I even complained and was disregarded. I have a very nice grade of hair, which was complimented by another stylist, that is easy to detangle..but the stylist carelessly detangled from the root down, pulling my hair out. Mind you I was left under the dryer for my “deep condition” for over an hour while another client that came in after me was finishing her service — skipping washing the clients hair and just blow drying it ..I assume being Dominican gets you serviced quicker and the stylist ensures they take their time. I am pregnant and literally became overheated under the dryer, asked how long it was suppose to take for a deep condition and I feel like another stylist had an attitude that she had to help rinse the conditioner out of my hair while she serviced someone that came after me ..i felt like i was being drowned in the wash bowl, saturating my shirt to only be told to go BACK under the dryer for another 5minutes. I feel if i didn’t speak up i would’ve been there for over 2hours with just my hair washed and conditioned, maybe if i didn’t say anything at all they would have taken their time to style my hair but rushed to get back to a client that came in 45min after me. Will not return. If you care about you hair, consider a natural hair stylist that will protect your hair.

This was unfortunately the worst weave install I’ve ever had. I’m new to Virginia and spent over a month researching salons before choosing this one. I went in to re-do my sew-in and specifically chose a simple style because I wanted something straightforward. The owner assured me she could handle sew-ins with no issues, so I trusted her.
A few concerns stood out immediately: • After removing my previous weave, she washed my hair without using any conditioner. • The water temperature during the wash was either extremely hot or extremely cold. • When she finished, my natural hair hadn’t been flat-ironed properly and looked very puffy. • We used two different lengths of weave, and she said she would trim the ends to blend them, but she didn’t. The length difference is very obvious. • She also attempted feathered bangs, but they were cut unevenly.
I reached out afterward to ask if I could come in to have the cut corrected, but I never received a response. I paid over $500 and am now left with a style I’m not happy with.
Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this salon for weave installs. The work and overall service felt very amateur for the price.

I was a walk in on a Sunday. I am natural girly and haven’t had a perm in over 6 years. I have a very thick texture hair. I received shampoo and deep conditioning with flat iron and trim. I was so impressed with the results.

I’m from NY and been trying to find a good dominican hair salon. I came here and everyone was so sweet. Ruth did such an amazing job on my hair. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she did exactly as asked(I got Highlights) . I love my hair and I will be returning for my next blow out and coloring.
