We had a three-site move... furniture out of an apartment with some of it going into the second floor of a house and some things to a storage unit, and items out of the house (from the garage, second floor and attic) and into the storage unit. The communication for arranging the move was "spot-on". Everything was communicated up front with no surprises! The truck arrived right on time. Corey, Steel, and Speedy were not only efficient, but they were quick! They were also professional and enjoyable to work with. We were amazed at the coordinated effort of the three. Corey really knows how to maximize the use of space! The company estimated 6 hours for our move. It only took 3.5 hours and the cost was adjusted accordingly. I would highly recommend Heroes Moving and Storage for any move, large or small, easy or difficult!! We will certainly use their services again! Thanks guys!
I'm a big fan of Heroes Moving and Storage! They are helping to move my grand piano for gigs and on a regular basis and they do a GREAT job! Professional, courteous, efficient. I can't recommend them enough!
I did not recommend. I truly wish I could give them a five star review as they were excellent to talk to on the phone and even provided free boxes which was awesome. Their scheduler was terrific. They showed up on move day on time as well which I truly appreciate. Their were 4 guys on my move and I was moving two hours outside Richmond. Mind you I am a single person with animals to move separate in my vehicle and very hard of hearing. I worked tirelessly for two weeks to pack up as much as I could and had to get rid of most things as well. They were super nice at first and knew I had stairs at both places as I did a virtual tour twice to make sure they knew what was involved. They complained so much while moving my things that I was taken aback. They said “ this was supposed to be boxed… and why not boxed” and continue to be rude. The items they were talking about don’t fit in any box like a microwave stand or a shelving unit for dry goods. What the heck!? Those were just two of items I had to throw away as completely broken. They were getting paid well to do this and it was not a charity thing. After I said something to one of the men he was very apologetic over his colleagues but the other three just continued the complaining. The guy in charge I believe that clocked the move and had me sign waiver “in case they broke things” was very short and curt. They broke many things including my mattress which has a big chuck of fabric pulled out and was wrapped in their mattress covers to protect it. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and I debated whether to review them at all because I do not want to leave bad reviews ever but my family thought it best to say something.I wish them only the best however that was my experience.
