Amazing team of instructors with a gift of making the impossible feel possible. I love training here. The Gracie University program also is a wonderfully structured curriculum. Highly recommended

The instructors (Mike, Suzanne, Brandy, and Cole) are super knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve been here for almost a year and the entire school feels like family. You see all ages and genders training and encouraging each other throughout their martial arts journey. In addition, they have a well established emphasis on their members safety and well being. I’ve trained at other jiu jitsu academy’s and this by far is a prefect fit for functional jiu jitsu/self-defense. They’re inviting to new comers, as well as beginners. I could not have found a better place to train.

Mike is a great instructor and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed going the last few months. You’re learning the basics in a stress free environment and they key the mats extremely clean all the time. This is a great place for people of all levels to come and learn, practice, and polish those skills.

Bushin Martial Arts Academy is a family owned and operated martial arts dojo (training hall) that offers instruction and courses in various forms of traditional Japanese martial arts and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Richmond’s only Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Training Center.
