About 2001 East

2001 East is a community that offers excellent customer service, as shown by the positive experiences of several residents and visitors. The leasing staff, including Kirby and Erin Montez, are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, going above and beyond to answer questions and provide tours. The community's renovated shared spaces are also a highlight, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. However, some issues have arisen with the transition to new ownership, including concerns about package security and the handling of security deposits. While some residents have had positive interactions with the leasing office, others have experienced difficulties in getting in touch with staff and resolving issues.

Upon entering the lobby was spotless and the lobby smelled really good. The office manager was extremely polite, helpful, and professional. I applied on a Friday night and Monday morning I received an email. the application process is easy. The hallways were super clean, the hardwood floor is like a chocolate brown but they were shiny and clean. I mean clean to where you could almost see your face in it. You probably could eat off of it. You won’t be disappointed. The building inside is beautiful. Even if you’re just in the market. Sign up for a tour, you be disappointed! This is one of the BETTER APARTMENT BUILDINGS in shockoe bottom and I can’t stress that enough.

2001 East is great for city living at its best! Richmond skyline view on the rooftop terrace and an amazing new gym! They even have covered garage parking. The best part is the staff though. Erin is great and so helpful, no matter what you need!

I can't say enough about this community. I visited to look for my daughter moving there next month. Kirby was great and answered all my questions and showed me around. She even suggested a great place for dinner. Great customer service!
