I left a physical therapy place in Fairfax. My friend told me that I should give Steve a try simply because Steve helped my friend with his C3/C4 pinched nerve. So I did and I'm glad did. Steve is great and he really knows how to help me to heal my C6/C7 pinched nerve pain. Now I'm about 99% back to normal. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who needs physical therapy.
Because I have a very rare medical condition, no physical therapy facility was willing to take me, but Steve Patane agreed to. Early on Steve said he couldn't make any promises, but he thought he could get me finished with using the wheelchair in 2 to 4 months. He did that & more in less than 2 months.
No more wheelchair & I'm able to walk 40 min. to an hour & a half! No more sign of paralysis in my legs or arms and I am so grateful to Steve, as well as the sweet, very competent gals working at Patane & Associates Physical Therapy.

Steve worked with me to prepare for two hip replacement surgeries and to assist in the post-op recoveries. The stationary bike, the assisted stretching to improve the range of motion, and resistance exercises to increase strength were all helpful. He was attentive to minimize pain and discomfort during the exercises. He also regularly asked questions about my current progress. These apparently were reviewed by my orthopedic surgeon which kept him up to date. I believe the prehab preparation was important in minimizing the swelling and pain after the surgery by improving my overall fitness.
