I hardly ever leave reviews but a few people from the hospital (pediatrics and peds surgeon) deserve some credit! My son was born 7 months ago and from his 2 week appointment until now, every doctor, nurse, corpsman and surgeon have been the most accommodating, sincere, helpful and just genuinely concerned and nice. Many of them going above and beyond to get us the correct care. Most recently there was a miscommunication in our appointment time but the peds clinic squeezed us in the same day I showed up, knowing we are PCSing the same week. Lt. On June 1, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., I overheard a conversation involving a female nurse, a male nurse, and MORRISONPONCE, DAPHNE PILAR, MD, regarding a male patient. The discussion appeared to involve the patient's private medical information and was conducted in a manner that sounded more like gossip than a legitimate clinical discussion.
Before the physician became involved in the conversation, the female and male nurses referred to the patient by name and appeared to access or review his medical chart while discussing him. My daughter had A.L.L., Leukemia at 6 years old. The time we spent, a long time, we were wonderfully taken care of. Today she is 31 and a Mom. I went through breast cancer there. They were again great. Every department; Breast Clinic, Radiology, MRI, Surgery Clinic and Plastic Surgery Clinic. Thank You Portsmouth Naval Hospital!!! Best Military Hospital!!!
