Awful experience. Large turnover in staff that is usually there interning only and have no idea how to set up or use the tools. The office hours state 8 am however Dr Collins will have a schedule starting over an hour before she even enters the building dissheleveld like she just woke up along with the whole staff. The same trash was on the floor of the lobby that was there over a week ago when we were there on a Saturday which as convient as that was and appreciated don't be fooled. This office needs to be visited by the health department. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Soft Palate Dentistry! My son, who has Down Syndrome, has always struggled with dental visits and typically needs to be sedated for cleanings. But thanks to the incredible kindness, patience, and thorough care of the dental assistant, he was actually able to have his teeth cleaned without sedation—for the first time ever!
She took the time to make him feel safe and comfortable, explaining everything gently and at his pace. This place is okay, but if I had more time to choose somewhere else I would have. We are a military family and this was a place that tricare recommended. Initially, the first visit wasn’t bad but we did wait for a very long time to see the dentist. While the staff is really nice, the wait times are really crazy. On my second visit this was also an issue, even after getting called to the back you’re forced to wait for a good amount of time before being seen by the actual dentist. I also don’t really think the waiting room is all that appealing, and the back area is very congested. Overall, it’s not a terrible option but I would find somewhere else if you can.
