I received care from Konikoff Dentistry in Norfolk last year. I paid several thousand dollars for an implant on my front tooth. From day 1, the implant had a spot on it that they can never repair. Totally unacceptable and they have not offered to fix it in any way. I have been there twice and they have yet to make this situation any better! I would never recommend this company. By the way, while sitting in their waiting room, I noticed an extraordinary amount of people leaving and buying an $800 mouth guard. They are certainly telling everyone who walk in there that they need a mouth guard..... It is obviously a scam.

I booked online for my 90 year old mother. I received an emails asking us to fill out the information and confirming the appointment. I received two texts confirming the appointment. I spent quite awhile filling out the forms. Two days later I received a call, and the woman on the other end tells me that it's not a real appointment. An email confirmation and two text confirmations weren't really confirmations I guess. The next available is August. So instead of her May appointment, that was confirmed at least 3 times, they can't fit her in until August. I can certainly understand if there was an issue, and they needed to rebook, but to be told that the appointment was never real, after 3 confirmations, is a terrible way to do business. We will be going elsewhere.

Words can not describe how badly I was treated first at the one downtown then at the one off Granby. Initially I went for a cleaning by Hillary at the downtown office. First she tortured me doing extremely painful x-rays for over an hour. Then her and the dentist told me I had to come back for a cleaning while they kept me in the chair about an hour and a half. They used that time to destroy my teeth. Made gaps where there were none, filed down some teeth and misshaped others so my mouth looked like a trainwreck. Also, I have a crown that I had on my front tooth that they dug into the top and did damaged the pulp so I have been in pain the last two years. Went to the one off Granby just to advise them of this and they were so nasty, did not give me all of my x-rays or my previous ones before the damage. Got in my face and told me my pain was my imagination. Then had the nerve to schedule me for a cleaning. When I got the reminder I called and told them I will never be back. Take me off the mailing and call list. The petty female dentist called me back and said I am no longer welcome as a patient and then sent me a certified letter saying the same thing. I believe it was a money making scheme. If there's no problem with your teeth they will screw them up so they can charge you thousands to fix them and think customers are too stupid to notice. If you complain you get bullied, gaslighted, and dismissed. I wish I could give them a negative 5. It took me 2 years to gather the courage to go to another dentist now I have to go to an endodontist for my crown because yes they said it was damaged by the hygienist. Unfortunately, too much time has passed for me to sue. If this saves at least one poor victim then it was worth me sitting in this parking lot almost writing a book.
