Honestly ... the lady was nice and the tea I was offered was delicious but my hair ... I paid too much money for the look of box dye. Ultimately after my hair dye (which was left In for over an hour...) I was told that my ends were still really dark and that I would need to bleach them to get the color I wanted but I don't understand why lightening wasn't talked about before hand due to the color I wanted ... so now I have light roots and dark ends .. it was clear I wasn't happy when I left and they did t say anything to make it a better experience... the lady even made a comment about it being way darker than even she expected which is ... upsetting Then... read full review
My short, curly and coarse hair can be a challenge for the best hair stylist. After two months away from my home in Florida, I was in desperate need of some "grooming". I looked for a salon within walking distance from the Waterside Marina AND good reviews. I was fortunate to have Ken as my stylist. He's very talented and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! I definitely will be scheduling a cut with him next time I'm in the Norfolk area!
Well... I didn't think spending hours at a salon would be a good time however, it was! KEN did my hair today (cut and color) he is full of hair (and life) knowledge! I was comfortable with the consultation and looking forward to the finished result! He is a hair wizard! Definitely magic fingers! He gave me exactly what I wanted (also, no more boxed hair color for me) Thank you KEN! See you next time!
