I had a terrible experience with both the administration and the clinical staff. This office billed me for a procedure that never took place. Instead of correcting the error, they spent weeks avoiding my calls. When I finally spoke to someone, they were incredibly condescending and insisted the procedure was done, despite my first-hand knowledge to the contrary. They only backed down and removed the billing code once my insurance company became involved regarding potential fraud. A total lack of accountability and transparency. I would never trust this provider again. If I could rate it 0 starts I most certainly would.

I went here a few months ago and the experience wasn't great. To start, the staff wasn't very friendly. Then my appointment was extremely rushed. Then doctor wanted me to start an expensive prescription/shot for my skin condition, which has horrible side effects. I agreed at first, but changed my mind. When I called them back a few days later to explain that after research I decided not to proceed and wanted to pursue alternatives (other than the prescriptions that they never sent to my pharmacy) I wasnt contacted back. I followed up the next month, no returned call. I followed up again, no returned call. I considered trying again now that the new year has passed, but I don't want to waste my time. I originally waited months for my appointment, and it got me nowhere. Maybe this place can help you, but they certainly didnt help me. Disappointing.

I'm just not impressed with this practice. The front desk lady was the only person in a good mood. The nurse I had was unfriendly and didn't even look at me when speaking with one another. I waited almost 45 minutes to just be told there's nothing they could do and that will be $50. I saw a nurse practitioner, and usually I prefer that but the one I saw just seemed like she was uninterested in what I had to say. She was nice but not really helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience when I had a procedure done at VA. Dermatology and Skin Cancer center in Newport News. From the receptionist to all the staff and Doctors they all showed compassion, professionalism and made sure all questions were answered before and after my procedure. We are thrilled to have found VA dermatology. After moving to virginia from vegas, we tried parasier dermatology, but they were awful and did not provide the same quality as our previous vegas dermatologist. We asked for a new referral to Va dermatology after receiving a recommendation from a friend who had the same bad experience with parasier. So we tried Va Dermatology, and had an amazing experience. Mrs. Tammy caught issues that the other place dismissed. She took care of my 3 children (3,4&7) and my concerns as well.

I was very pleased with the staff they made me feel very important. I had gone to another one first and was not treated well at all and they did nothing for me. Today I was so happy to have a good Dermatologist. I will tell everyone that needs to go to one to come to this place.
