From 2008 to 2020, while living in Newport News, VA, we had Sturdevant complete 4 major projects for us.They remodel our master bathroom, built a retaining wall 4 ft high by 300 ft long in our front yard, a 6 ft high by 25 ft long retaining wall in our back yard, and built a 35 ft long by 24 ft wide by 10 ft high Pergola over our deck.Sturdevant had us involved in every step of the process. Talk a good game but project management was poor and the sub-contractors that were used were inferior - cheapest they could find, I imagine. Many costly mistakes caused by lousy internal communication. We kept track of work days and there was so little progress at one point we requested a change of site manager - workers that sat on the front steps, smoked and stayed on cell phones. Neighbors commented there was no sense of urgency when they had promised a complete job in time for our daughter's wedding.
