I can not say enough positive words about my experience thus far! The reason for my being a client is medical, upcoming reconstructive surgery post removal of an area on my face.

From the first phone call through my first visit, I've been comforted by the Carney Team -- caring, re-assuring, questions asked and answered, positive, professional tones. When I went into the Newport News office for the consultation, the waiting room and every area I could see and go was clean, kept, warm, welcoming.

Elaine met with me, asked questions, took detailed notes. We laughed together; she was extremely professional while being human at the same time - not all business then leaving the room. Except for one time when she stepped out to call Dr. Carney (who was delayed in Virginia Beach) to give him the information she gathered about me, Elaine stayed with me the entire time.

Dr. Carney, III made it a point to facetime with me to answer questions, discuss the upcoming procedure, etc. He was very positive, understood my anxieties, reassured me that all will be well -- he set my mind and heart at ease.

My skin is prone to dark spots from sun. I have had superficial peels before; however, never peeled, although I did enjoy the glow. I decided to get the VI peel to take off the top skin layer. I was terrified after watching the VI peel videos. Upon speaking with Monique, the esthetician, she explained that the peel was not bad, so I went for it. Days 1, 2, and 3, I looked amazing. My peel actually started on day 4, and I peeled for 4 days. My skin now looks even and is wonderfully soft. So glad I did it, and my only go to is The Carney Center.
