I have been seeing Dr Lumpkin for probably 20 years or more he is great he's very thorough I wouldn't go anywhere else. However I have questions about the optical department I think they're very expensive however you get good quality glasses but I think they could be a little bit better on their price and their hours their hours are terrible and it takes forever to get your glasses but I give the doctor's office five stars the optical department made me one or two stars they need to improve
I went to Richmond Eye Associates and saw Whitney in the Optical department to get a new prescription put in my drill mount glasses that I already own, and she was very knowledgeable and assured me that they could do it with no problem. I had previously gone to 4 other eyeglass providers in Richmond, even the one that i originally purchased from and they all turned me away and only wanted to sell me new frames, even though my frames were in excellent condition. Thank you, Whitney, for your excellent service and professionalism, you are an asset to Richmond Eye Associates.
I am a new patient to this practice and felt a bit skeptical given some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and hello from the front desk. She was so very kind. After completing my paperwork I was taken back almost immediately for my exam which was performed by an experienced staff member. She too was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr Holley came in and explained in detail what he thought the best treatment plan would be and I agreed.
