McLean Animal Hospital immediately accepted a baby robin, fed it, and found a rehabber. They are amazing and a gem in McLean. The hospital is AAHA accredited and has a wide range of services, making it a trusted choice for pet owners in the area.
Dr Sullivan is the best cat vet Ive dealt with in a very long time. She is so reasonable, knowledgeable, and responsive. I am just really grateful I found her. Shes very very good with cat behavioral issues.
Front desk staff is kind and they have a good sense of humor. It’s a hectic and busy place, lots of clients, but the staff doesn’t rush you and answers your questions. The doctors also take their time learning about new patients and bonding without pups. We have a pup who’s terrified of the Vet and aggressive with other dogs when he’s stressed- this vet allows me to schedule appointments at the end of the day to avoid a busy waiting room and shields other dogs when we enter and exit, allowing our boy less stress and no unnecessary contact. Everyone is gentle and patient with this anxious pup and that makes it better for me as well.

I have been going to McLean Animal Hospital for 64 years for many reasons. Their compassion and skill continue to be amazing. This was my first time meeting Dr. Tucker who prescribed precisely what my 14 year old dear dog needed. This morning the dog wanted to walk the full away around the block for the first time in awhile and her tail is wagging happily again because her pain seems to be completely resolved with the medications. Dr. Tucker I am so grateful for your help; and, obviously, you know what you are doing. Thank you!
