We board three of our Parson Russell Terriers twice a year, on average, for extended stays with Mike & Sarah and we absolutely love how well they take care of our little guys! Their entire family participates in making our fur babies feel comfortable, exercised and fulfilled. After each stay we see a noticeable difference in how well our dogs behave at home. We have a specific meal plan that requires cold storage with a timed feeding schedule and Mike/Sarah always accommodate beyond our expectations.

Within a few days of our first lesson, our dog already had fairly good recall. On walks, he’d gone from pulling with all his might leashed to a heavy-duty harness, to strolling manageably on a light leash clipped to a flat collar. After the fourth lesson, we had a dog with very reliable recall, even when running toward an animal or another dog. He now walks in a heel on command, sits and stays until released, and has great door/gate manners. He is often complimented on being a well-mannered dog. The dog always seems to enjoy training sessions and always gets super-amped to work on his repertoire of commands.
We dropped off our sweet but very rambunctious Link at My Dog Listens about three weeks ago. Link is a 15 month old Golden Retriever and was very true to the “puppy” part: he pulled, tugged, jumped, humped, and generally believed the world revolved around him. With our first child on the way, we were understandably concerned about getting some of those behaviors under control and making sure we could safely and confidently have Link around our growing family.
