Both of my kids went here & I never had any problems!! Clean, professional, & always addressed any issues with me immediately. My kids are now grown & neither one have every had a cavity!! I think they do great work & seeing all the negatives reviews made me want to leave one from someone who had a positive experience with this dental practice!! *Keep up the good work! ❤

I think.my granddaughter got treated by that same rude lady...she just goes to uva now for her dentel care. This place had made her so scared of a dentist clinic!!!!!!

Children and their dental health should be first, but it's unfortunately not the case here. I would love to give Dr. Sawyer 5 stars, but the office side of the dental office has been painful. We split our time between two homes, the other is out of state. An invoice was sent to us here while out of state, when we returned and went through the mail I called but the appropriate person was not in the office so I emailed asking for details on the charges and confirmation both of our dental insurances had been billed in the correct order. My child also had a root canal done and I needed to submit any work related to that differently with insurance on our end. While waiting on a response we were sent to collections. I spoke with the office and they apologized for not responding to the email but said it was too late for them to do anything. I immediately settled it even before confirmation the insurance was billed correctly. The Endontist has been sending them the information to schedule the next procedure and I called and made an appointment for my child. Then the day of her appointment, after confirming it the day before, they said it was made in error and they refused to see her. They said it's an office policy. So after months of waiting for her to get the medical care she needs, they refuse her the day of over an issue where they neglected to confirm insurance billing. Rather than putting their patient first, they are now causing my child to wait again for care. They certainly did not care about her needs. They certainly did not care that they were cancelling the day of, that they've been getting the information from the Endontist, that they could be causing her further issues because they are the reason her care is now delayed. A children's care/medical office who does NOT put children first, who does NOT care if their mistakes and lack of communication cause harm to their young patients.

Drs Summer and Shannon Sawyer and the friendly staff at Children’s Dental Health of Lynchburg have taken excellent care of my kids dental needs for many years. They were caring and very supportive during the 4 year process of a medical challenge with one of my children and have been part of the care team that sparked a future career interest from the positive experience. They take the time to explain things well and we always leave the office with a beautiful smile!
