THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Don't go to this dentist. They do not care about their patient. Came in for tooth pain. Assistant did xray and doctor come in blow air into my gum for 2 second at full blast and ask if it hurt. Obviously it hurt and say I have root canal and send me off to specialist that they seem to have been sending many of their customer to. dentist was in the room for less than 5 minutes. Get quoted for 1 tooth root canal and crown for $5k. The xray and quick air spray will cost you $180. Went to a different dentist for second option they say tooth can be save with fillings and cost $150 for consulate and xray.

Today I had the most excellent experience at Central Virginia Dental Dentistry. I came in with severe tooth pain that I had been dealing with for weeks, and after visiting other places where the service was poor and the pricing felt unreasonable, I was truly relieved to find this office. They welcomed me warmly, helped me quickly, and treated me with real professionalism.
Today I was seen by Dr. Nab (Dr. Nabizadeh), and to be super honest, it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. He was not only highly skilled, but also kind, patient, attentive, and respectful. He explained my X-rays clearly, answered all of my questions in detail, and made sure I fully understood what was going on before moving forward with treatment.
What stood out most was how genuinely caring he was. He asked thoughtful questions, listened closely when I shared a bit of my story, and made it clear that he truly prioritizes his patients’ comfort and well-being, not just the procedure. That level of compassion helped me feel relieved knowing that I was in good hands.
He treated a large cavity that was really close to a nerve with a filling, the process was quick and completely painless, and the relief was immediate. I’m very grateful for his professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this office, and I will definitely return and request Dr. Nab again.

Scheduled an emergency appointment here to get a 2nd opinion on a tooth abscess and options for saving/extracting the tooth. I had an appointment earlier in the week with another dental office and wasn't happy with their care and solutions.
My appointment was at 8am and I was taken back within minutes of arriving. Staff was incredibly friendly and cared about the issues I was having. Had one x ray taken and was quickly seen by Dr. Curling and we went over the options. In the end I chose to have him extract the tooth the same day. He and the dental assistant made the process extremely easy and comfortable for what it was and I was in and out in under an hour.
The care, cost, and professionalism of all of the staff here is unmatched to any other dental office I've ever been to!
I highly recommend and will be back!

Absolutely love this place!! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, I just recently started going here and Dr Howard has been amazing! They definitely put their clients first and I am amazed by the wonderful service I have received here! Highly recommend

Got multiple tooth fillings and one removed; it was a seamless process; the doctors know what they’re doing; I was at Johnson Health Center a while back to another one of my teeth pulled and the were terrible compared to here. Best assured this dentistry is worth your money and time(the assistants are super nice and friendly as well). I might be going here for as long as I live around this Timberlake office.

Dr. Howard hands down best dentist in the area and by area I mean Virginia! He will shoot you straight and get you in and out of there quick and easy. Great staff and the service is exceptional. My family would recommend him to anyone in the area looking for the best dentist that truly cares about his patients.

I am pretty upset. I have held this in for a while but i will make sure to cancel mine and my husbands next appt. We have had nothing but trouble since our last cleaning. Where we thought the lady was doing a thorough job, a week later i had a tooth break. Mind you this was a six month cleaning i was told there had been absolutely no changes to my teeth since the last visit. So i feel like it was on purpose to force me to come back for a root canal. Now instead of going back for one root canal that I already needed I would need to have to have two. Mind you they talked us into a filling for my husband on day one of us going there. Hubby has had nothing but teeth sensitivity since our last appt. We left that office with red swollen gums. I asked about a quote for a retainer and the impressions, never got one to this day. We are going elsewhere. I don't like feeling like I'm at an auto shop being suggested things we havent asked for. I am not a piggybank. The DA and office staff is very nice though. That is all.
